Cost of the ethical internet all inclusive package

We accept payments in £ Sterling and the local Stroud currency, the Stroud Pound (www.stroudpound.org.uk).

What you get for the above price - the ethical internet all-inclusive website, CMS, shop, intranet, hosting and support package

A public website set up for you, plus an online shop and private intranet too if you wish, using your existing logo and colours or creating a new very simple design. Unlimited amend-it-yourself web pages, with ample storage space for your uploaded files (e.g. pictures, acrobat/pdf or Word documents). The price includes a half day face-to-face tuition session, and registering a new domain name* for you. If you already have a domain name, we can usually transfer it for you.

A well-designed website that's easy to amend yourself, plus free help from a web expert, is great value for £95 per year. But there's even more included in the price! If you want, you can run an email list that visitors can subscribe to, plus there are many ready-made tools such as events calendar, site search and "what's new" list.

During the setup and tuition we will put the content into the first few pages, to get you off to a good start. After that, you can take over, extending the site and keeping it up to date with our amend-it-yourself tools. Our job is not usually to run the site for you, but to teach and support you to do it yourself using a straightforward system which dozens of our non-technical customers enjoy using to run their websites themselves.** The crucial thing is that you're never on your own - we're always on hand with help and advice.

The £95 annual fee covers domain name, hosting, system maintenance, and unlimited support. That is your total outlay on your website/web statistics/domain name/ and email for one year.

* .org or .com domain name rather than .org.uk or .co.uk - extra £10 per year.

** If you actually do want someone to completely run a website for you, making all the updates for you, even writing the copy, sourcing illustrations, writing and sending email newsletters etc, we can do all that... get in touch to discuss your requirements.

hosting only option

£35 pa

If you only require hosting, this is available for £35 pa including a .co.uk or .org.uk domain name. For this, you get basic webhosting with ftp access, 100mb of web site storage, and up to 3 email addresses.

No VAT is charged on the above prices.
