Green & Away is a unique event venue, offering groups and organisations a natural, eco-friendly and creative space in which to come together. Each year, the Green & Away team build and run Europe's only tented conference centre - an inspirational and environmentally sustainable village - on a farm in rural Worcestershire. The Green & Away village page will tell you more about our original (some might say quirky!) facilities, but we have a variety of meeting spaces and craft areas, as well as a coppiced-hazel dome bar and café circling the campfire and village green. The wind and sun provide our power, and our food is local and/or organic.

Arriving at Green & Away

We host a diverse range of events for all sorts of organisations and businesses who want to hire our venue, and we not only welcome those supporting environmental and social change, but also want to support businesses and interest groups that are changing, growing and developing a greener way of thinking and being. Our fifteen years of experience in hosting events helps kindle a friendly and constructive atmosphere, and inspires enthusiasm in all our visitors. While acting as hosts, we encourage everyone attending the events to try to combine the experience of ecologically sustainable living with hard work and fun.

Workshops, camps, training sessions, team-building or strategy and development meetings held at Green & Away have had really successful outcomes because of the community spirit which forms amongst our guests, and the way this encourages people to think in new ways. It seems that by sharing our extraordinary venue and providing the space for people to think innovatively, they are inspired to make better decisions, have different conversations, and focus on what is really important to bring positive outcomes for both individuals and organisations alike.

Green and Away Charity Objectives

Our Memorandum of Association states that our objects are "the advancement of education of people in the UK and abroad in all matters concerning environmental conservation and economic and social studies as they relate to individuals, communities, and the planet as a whole".

and that:

"In furtherance of the Objects but not otherwise the Charity may exercise the following powers:

1. To establish environmental conference centres with the object of raising awareness in all aspects of sustainable development, including resource and energy use, waste, ecology, health, technology, agriculture, philosophy and psychology."
